Paul A. Croce, II joined Cooney, Scully and Dowling in 1999 and his practice includes defending a variety of civil litigation matters.

Professional Experience

Mr. Croce has extensive experience defending premises liability cases and motor vehicle liability cases. He has represented the State of Connecticut in many defective highway and motor vehicle cases and has defended uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance coverage cases, products liability cases, employment matters, and also works in the area of construction litigation. Prior to beginning law school, Mr. Croce worked for Children and Family Services in Rhode Island and for the Memory Disorders Research Center in Boston, where he was a co-author of articles that appeared in the professional journals of Neurocase and Neuropsychology.

Professional and Civic Activities

While attending law school, Mr. Croce was the executive editor for The Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and was a member of the Health Law Interest Group. He received the CALI Award for Future Excellence for his participation in the Health Law Clinic. He is a member of the Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations and the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association.
